Before I started in the cleaning industry, I spent 12 years as an elementary school teacher. I eventually realized I needed a change and wanted to support my family in a new way. As a natural organizer with a love for a clean home, I thought, "Why not start a cleaning company?" When I was younger, I loved cleaning so much that I'd sometimes mess up my room just so I could tidy it up again! With the support of my family, I began my new journey.

Recently, I changed my company’s name to Maid by Polly LLC, from A la Maid by Polly LLC, but we remain the trusted cleaning service you can depend on. I’m prescreened by HomeAdvisor and am consistently referred by friends and clients. I have won The Norwich Bulletin's Community Choice Award for Best Cleaning Service in Eastern Connecticut in both 2022 and 2023, the Quality Business Awards for New London's Best Cleaning Service in 2024, and I was the runner-up for The Day's Best of the Best award for 2024 Best Cleaning Service.
